November was a standout month at Uninked. More and more people walked into the studio with the same energy:
“It’s time to make room for something better.”
November made one thing obvious: tattoo removal isn’t only about regret. it’s about improving and taking control of your ink.
For some, it was about prepping for a clean cover-up. For others, it was fading older tattoos that had blurred or stretched over time so they could be redone properly.
And for a growing amount of clients, it was the start of a bigger transformation.
The theme was simple:
People want tattoos that fit who they are now, not who they were years ago.
Cover-Up Prep
A lot of clients came in specifically to fade tattoos before getting new work. Artists prefer it too, a faded base gives them a cleaner starting point and more freedom with design.
Updating Older Tattoos
We saw a lot of older pieces this month that just needed a reset. Ink changes over time, it can blur, fade unevenly, or lose its original detail. Lightening or removing older work gives people a cleaner base to rebuild from and usually leads to a better end result.
Fine-Line & Micro Tattoos
These are still popular, but we’re also seeing people remove smaller tattoos to streamline their look or make space for larger work.
Bigger Projects
Sleeves, ribs, and larger pieces were also part of the mix this month. Some clients are removing full sections to rebuild their tattoo style from the ground up. It takes commitment, but the excitement behind it is real.
November showed us that tattoo removal isn’t just a technical process, it’s a choice people make when they want their tattoos to match who they are now. For some, it’s clearing space.
For others, it’s improving what’s already there. And sometimes, it’s just time for a change.

Halloween Special + October Wrap Up!

This month’s highlight was our biggest and most exciting event yet! The Uninked Halloween Special!
Running from October 31st to November 1st, this two-day event brought a huge wave of new faces into the studio and filled the place with great energy. Between the special deals, prize wheel, and the buzz from Deadmind Tattoo Studio’s own flash tattoo event, it became one of our most memorable weekends yet.
The Halloween Special gave people the perfect chance to finally start their removal journey at a fraction of the usual cost. With $50 for palm-size tattoos and $120 for anything larger (up to A4) it was easily our best-value offer so far, and people definitely took advantage of it.
The response was incredible, with the studio packed and the energy staying high from start to finish. Plenty of first-timers came in keen to see how laser removal actually works, along with returning clients continuing their sessions, and a few who’d been watching from the sidelines and finally decided it was time to start.
A few highlights from the day.
October couldn’t have ended on a better note. The Halloween Special was a huge success, and it showed just how much Uninked Tattoo Removal continues to grow month after month. Big thanks to everyone who came through, joined the fun, or helped spread the word, the support never goes unnoticed.
We’re already planning what’s next, and if this event was any sign, the next one’s going to be even bigger…

Tattoo Removal Results After 3 Sessions + How the Laser Works!

This month’s highlight is a client who’s already seen incredible fading after just 3 sessions - and a closer look at how our Q-Switch laser makes results like this possible!
At Uninked Tattoo Removal, we’re about showing what’s possible with the right technology and a little patience. This time, we’re sharing the journey of a client who has already seen major fading after three sessions, while also briefly breaking down how the process works step by step.
3 Session Fade in Progress…
One of our recent clients came to us with a bold fine-line rose tattoo on her ribs. The design was solid black and very prominent against her skin, a piece she felt she had outgrown and was ready to leave behind. She hadn’t tried any other removal methods before and decided to start fresh with us here at Uninked Tattoo Removal.
Her journey began back in April, and after a short break while she was on holiday, she returned for her third session in September. We started with conservative settings for her first treatment, then safely increased energy in sessions two and three. The results speak for themselves: after just three treatments, the rose has already lightened significantly.
Her skin responded with some temporary purpura (those small red spots that can appear after treatment), but she healed quickly each time. The tattoo is consistently fading with every visit, with only a few darker sections still holding on. At this stage, we’re expecting around another three sessions to reach full clearance and she couldn’t be happier with the progress so far.

So, How Does the Q-Switch Laser work?
Think of tattoo ink like a rock sitting beneath the surface of your skin. On its own, your body can’t break it down, the particles are simply too big. That’s where the Q-Switch laser comes in. It delivers pulses of light at an incredible speed, in billionths of a second, safely shattering the ink into tiny fragments, almost like breaking a rock into grains of sand.
Once the ink has been broken down, your body takes over. Through your immune system, those microscopic pieces are gradually absorbed and flushed away over the weeks following each session. This is why fading doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a process of treatment, healing, and clearance all working together.
Multiple sessions are needed because tattoos aren’t made up of a single layer of ink. Pigment sits at different depths in the skin, and some areas are more stubborn than others. With every session, more of those layers are broken apart and removed, until the tattoo is completely gone.
The Q-Switch is considered the gold standard in tattoo removal because it’s precise, effective, and designed to target ink without damaging the surrounding skin, making the whole process safe and reliable.
Our client’s results after just three sessions are a clear example of how the Q-Switch process works in real life. With each treatment, the ink is broken down further, the body clears it away, and the tattoo continues to fade. It takes patience and consistency, but the results speak for themselves.

4-Day Tattoo Fade After One Session + Kathy’s Final Removal Session at Uninked.
It all begins with an idea.

At Uninked Tattoo Removal, we’re all about real results. In this post, we’re sharing two amazing journeys that show what’s possible with the right laser and a bit of patience. One client saw noticeable fading just 4 days after her very first session, while Kathy, an awesome client of ours, has officially completed her final removal stage, and the results speak for themselves.
4-Day Fade After Session One.
One of our recent clients came in with a black tattoo of Totoro on her inner forearm (the iconic forest spirit from Studio Ghibli’s classic film)
While she loved the design for over 10 years, she decided it was time to let it go and start fresh. The tattoo had a dark grey fill with some deep sections of ink, particularly through the handle of the umbrella.
The ink was bold and saturated, but I knew it would respond well to our laser.
After just one session, the results spoke for themselves. Only four days later, you could already see the ink breaking apart and our client’s natural skin tone lifting through from underneath the tattoo.
We can’t wait to see how much more this tattoo fades over the next few sessions.

Kathy’s Final Stage of Removal.
Kathy’s tattoo journey wasn’t easy. She had already been through 12 sessions at another clinic, but the stubborn ink in her tattoo just wouldn’t budge.
The cover-up on her tattoo left deep, cloudy patches that just wouldn’t break down, no matter how many sessions she had.
After her first session with us, the stubborn cloudy ink started fading fast. It was amazing to see such a quick transformation. After our follow-up session, the difference was incredible, it was clear we were in the final stage of treatment.
Now that Kathy’s tattoo is virtually gone, helping her finally see the results of her persistence has been so rewarding.

Both the Totoro tattoo and Kathy’s cover-up journey show what’s possible with the right laser and approach. From impressive fading in just a few days to completely clearing a stubborn tattoo, I’m so honored to have been a part of something so life-changing for both of these women.
